Article 8. Three Pillars
This Church derives its unique qualities and value as an organization by defining and cultivating three essential elements that are in service to our purpose of catalyzing positive evolution. We refer to these elements as the three pillars of the Temple: our philosophy, our community, and our culture.
8.01. Our Philosophy: Seeking Universal Oneness. We honor the timeless wisdom of a diversity of teachings, traditions, and cosmologies. We realize that there is a universal truth at the center of all positive expressions of spirituality – we recognize this as the Perennial Philosophy, the Way of Cosmic Unity, or the Law of One.
8.02. Our Community: Engaging in Positive Praxis. We are participating in an evolving creation. We play our part by embodying the values and principles that we hold most sacred, to be the change we wish to see in the world. We choose to learn together and apply the insights gained along our paths by putting theory into practice.
8.03. Our Culture: Living With An Open Heart. We join the mystical traditions that assert the goodness of the universe and love at the center of all things. We align our thoughts, words, and deeds with that quality of kindness in order to co-create a supportive environment of freedom and aliveness to learn, heal, grow, and thrive together.
