Article 4. Spiritual Authority

In the formation and management of the affairs of this Church we, the founders, contemplate the rights and responsibilities we hold as agents of God who hear and respond to the inner call to serve through creating and stewarding this Church and its Congregation.

We know and comprehend that we are bestowed with God-given creative forces, and we draw from these forces in so constituting this Church and Congregation in the manner outlined herein.

We contemplate and assert our divine right to form and establish this Church, by the articulation and execution of this Constitution.

4.01. Freedom and Independence. We establish this Church as free women and men, and do not choose to seek any form of government enumeration, registration, or recognition. We also hold it self-evident that any efforts to force registration, enumeration, or recognition from the government of said entity within the jurisdiction of any government law would render said Church no longer a Church whose authority rests in the One Infinite Creator, but instead a church that is serving two masters, in violation of our principles.

4.02. God’s Law is Supreme. This Church is established in accordance with the following bodies of law, in descending order of authority:

(a) God’s Law, also known as Ecclesiastical Law;

(b) Nature’s Law, also known as Natural Law or the laws of the universe;

(c) the Law of Man, also known as Common Law;

(d) the US Constitution;

(e) and the laws of the State of North Carolina.
