Article 14. Articles & Amendments
14.01. Construction of Articles. All references in the Constitution to statutes, regulations, or other sources of legal authority shall refer to the authorities cited, or their successors, as they may be amended from time to time.
(a) Enforceability. If any provision is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any respect, the invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other provision and the Constitution shall be construed as if the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision had not been included in the Constitution.
(b) Headings. The headings used in the Articles are used for convenience and shall not be considered in construing the terms of the Constitution.
(c) Gender and Plurality. Wherever the context requires, all words in the Constitution in the male, female or neuter genders shall be deemed to include the other genders, all singular words shall include the plural, and all plural words shall include the singular.
14.02. Amendments. This Constitution may be altered, amended, or repealed, and new articles, sections, sub-sections, and other terms may be adopted by a majority vote of the Church Stewards.
